1. No derogatory or offensive language directed at others.
Pretty self explanatory. No using foul language towards other members on the forums or off the forums. No making fun of other members period, if they ask you to stop then STOP.
2. You may only be in 1 SWTOR guild.
No member is allowed to be in multiple guilds. If you are a member of CotF then you are not permitted to join any other SWTOR guild. If it is a WoW guild then go ahead and join, but if they branch into SWTOR then you are not allowed to play with that guild while playing SWTOR, you are still aloud to play WoW with them.
3. Guild members must make 1 post a month.
This is so that we can keep track of who is still interested in the guild come game release. If you violate this rule twice then you will be removed from the guild and forced to reapply if you choose to come back. The acceptance process will get much, much, much, harder closer to release time. So make sure that you are active so you do not have to go through he process.
4. No spamming the forum.
Every post needs to contribute in every post that you make.
5. No modding unless you are a mod.
This means that unless you are a moderator of the forums you have no right to tell someone that they are breaking the rules or doing something inappropriate. IF you do attempt to mod it is only off topic and thus breaking rule 4. We have a REPORT button for a reason. Report it and let a real mod handle it.
6. Use proper spelling.
The forum has a built in spell checker when you make a post. USE IT. You can also get add-ons for your web browser that will also check your spelling. USE IT, if you are from a foreign country, I DON'T CARE, you have a spell checker use it. We do understand that not everyone knows proper grammar (members that live in countries that do not speak English), we will excuse that.
7. Look more, post less
This is by far Getet's favorite rule. FOLLOW IT. The forum has a search function, it will NOT crash the forum. Use it.
All rules apply to all members, Senate members, and Military leaders.
If you hear/see someone break one of the above rules please notify one of the Guild leaders immediately. By Guild leaders I mean the military leaders, and members of the senate. Action will be taken against this member. We ask that when possible you provide proof, if it happens on the forum screen cap the incident (use the print screen button and then paste it in a paint document).
