Why do you wish to join us?
I've heard many good things, most of which are not from the internet. A good reputation is important when you enter into a "relationship" with a group of people. Getting involved with the wrong group of people can really tarnish your name, as well as your future in whatever it is you are involved in, be it gaming, bowling, competitive eating, etc. I've heard the forum and the members here talked up by a buddy of mine for a while (Qen-Adar). I just got around to getting the information and have been poking around a couple of days. I have been pleased with the excitement surrounding this game and the life of the forums.
Why should we accept you?
I don't know. I can't tell you why or why not to accept me. I'm probably not the best player that you'll ever meet and I know I'm not the nicest. I do enjoy working hard and winning. I want to succeed and press forward. I want to know as much as I can and be as informed as possible. I believe that my dedication and lust for victory could make me a desirable guildmate.
Why did you pick us over everyone else?
To be honest, I was referred here by my good friend Qen-Adar. I have seen plenty of advertisements, but a lot of that is just crap. Spams of "Looking for Mature players for new SW:TOR guild. We are going to be awesome and give away free kisses and pie" just don't lock me in. Don't get me wrong, I LOOOOOVE kisses and pie, but I'd really like something more. I was directed here by a good friend of mine from the realm of real life. He has been here a while and has mentioned the forum and site fondly many times, I've read a few posts over his shoulder even. He and I recently began talking more seriously about this game and I asked for the information, so that I might come here and see if I could get in. While I didn't actually try other guilds, I was impressed enough with what I've seen here to apply.
What do you expect to get from joining this guild?
I have what I consider to be normal expectations. I expect to gain friends, some of which I may keep for years or even forever. I expect to find a group of like-minded people and enjoy a MMO game by enjoying the middle M. I expect to find my niche and provide whatever I can to the guild and it's members.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
I may not be the best person to ask, but I'll give it a shot.

Imagine you could trade places with anyone for just a week. The person could be famous or not famous, living or from history, real or fictional. With whom would you trade places?
Actually, no one. Seriously. I sure don't have the greatest life, but I'd never trade it with anyone or for anything. There are lots of people throughout history that I look up to and many things I wish I could have experienced, but I am grateful for my own life. I'd like to think that maybe one day someone would wish they were me.
How would you define success?
I guess it depends on where you want to be in life. I believe that success comes from climbing a ladder, moving up tiers and making it to the "top". Not always multi-million dollar homes and in-ground swimming pools, but simply being where you want to be.
What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort?
Reward. I will sweat my ass off in the sun for a week, if at the end of the week I've got the best looking yard in the neighborhood. Hedges sculpted perfectly, monkey grass sticking up just where I want, the maple tree in a big, beautiful, bushy circle. I'll train and practice and my run as fast as I can, if at that finish line I get a medal or trophy. I think that reward or praise really motivates most people. I'm sure that saving the life of my child might motivate me, but I don't have an kids... so I still get to be a bit selfish. =P
If any, which members do you know in our guild, and what is your relationship?
I do have a friend in this guild, he has been a member for over a year I believe. I do not know his name here, but I am sure he will chime in here and help me out. We have been friends for probably more than a decade now. We have gamed together, both video games and table-top, pen-and-paper RPG games. Addition - His name is Qen-Adar. I have edited my post to reflect that in several other areas. We actually just had lunch together today and I let him look over my app and see some of the responses. I explain in a post further in that I tried to get his name last night, but he was sucked into some KoToR and didn't respond.
Tell us something about yourself outside of SW:TOR; what kind of hobbies are you interested in, etc?
I am a computer and mobile phone enthusiast. I love building and tweaking PCs and I enjoy new mobile technology. I've been playing with PCs for almost 20 years, since my grandmother gave me my first old PC. I recently developed a love for mobile technology and I have become a full adopter of Android as a development platform for mobile devices.
Have you been a part of any other SW:TOR Pre-Launch guilds?
No.

Yes, to both.

No. To be honest, I might be the most offensive person that I know... and I don't even try most of the time. =X

I have not yet fully decided on a Class and have not decided on a Race at all. I am not sure what races will be shipping with the game (read: CONFIRMED), so I can't say for sure what it will be. I would like to hold off on a bio and traits until I know for sure what I will have to work with and decide on. I presently am interested in playing a Smuggler, but don't know much more than that, yet. I was hoping E3 could answer some questions, but I'm not sure.

How long have you been playing WoW: I played from Closed Beta until January 2010.
Please list your raid experience (Also, how often you raided): I slowed my raiding drastically through the expansions. During regular WoW i raided 3-5 days a week for up to 8 hours a day. During TBC I raided 1-2 days a week for up to 6 hours a day. During WotLK I raided just once a week and not even regularly, I mostly did Heroics with friends.
Favorite Content of the game and why: PvP. I enjoyed going toe-to-toe with real life players.

Favorite Content of the game and why: RvR. As I got to higher levels I found the RvR to be less and less interesting. I have heard that they corrected some of the boredom, though. RvR made the game very fun, as you got to show off your mettle in real battle.

Favorite Content of the game and why: The storyline mode of the game. Playing through the game and feeling like you are an important part of the game is very rewarding.
