"Necroposting" is posting in threads that have been inactive for a while. Sometimes you post on a thread that hasn't had a post in months simply because it died out or people lost interest on the subject or it was getting out of context, posting on threads like those is "necroposting". You are welcome to post anywhere, just just try and watch out for these "dead threads" (hence the Necro).
